Club Statement on the National Futsal League and National Futsal Series

Oxford City Futsal Club has chosen not to apply to join the new National Futsal Series.

It is our view that a lack of transparency and consultation by the FA has not been in the best interests of the entire futsal family. However, we wish those clubs who have chosen to apply to the NFS every success and best of luck for the future.

Whilst the National Futsal League has had its faults, we feel that an approach of ‘remain and reform’ is the best way forward. We are therefore strongly committed to working with like-minded clubs to create a genuinely member-led elite National Futsal League.

​We remain committed to delivering both quality and participation in the sport we love, in line with the aims of the National Futsal Strategy.
